IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Jackson, MS)

Harborlight Lakeside Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Jackson serving households and small businesses. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with card disputes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
