IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Indianapolis, IN)

Redstone Amber Insurance Group is an insurance company in Indianapolis with claims and service teams, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
