IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Houston, TX)

Westbrook Rowan Civic Services supports public agencies in Houston with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
