IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Hartford, CT)

Silverline Harbor Freight Partners coordinates shipments and warehousing around Hartford, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
