IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Vista Manufacturing and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
