IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Lumen Timber Water Authority and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
