IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Detroit, MI)

Greenridge Summit Markets serves neighbourhoods around Detroit with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
