IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood Cedar Foods Partners makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Detroit. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 812 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
