IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Detroit, MI)

Summit Meridian Hospitality is a hospitality company in Detroit with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 818 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with group events. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
