IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Des Moines, IA)

Bright Quarry Arts Center is an arts centre in Des Moines with a full calendar of events. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 163 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
