IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Des Moines, IA)

Ironwood Cedar Hospitality is a hospitality company in Des Moines with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with guest bookings. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
