IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Des Moines, IA)

Bright Ember Manufacturing makes precision components in Des Moines, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
