IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Manufacturing and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
