IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Dallas, TX)

Fernwood Stone Energy Group is an energy provider in Dallas focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
