IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Dallas, TX)

Bluepeak Cobalt Construction Group is a Dallas contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 103 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
