IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Dallas, TX)

Silverline Cedar Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Dallas focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
