IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Colorado Springs, CO)

Fernwood Stone Telecom is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
