IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Cincinnati, OH)

Ironwood Mill Telecom Group builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Cincinnati area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
