IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Chicago, IL)

Highbridge Pike Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Chicago, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
