IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Chicago, IL)

Lumen Granite Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Chicago, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. Families are partners. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
