IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Charleston, SC)

Summit Basin Banking Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for deposit accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
