IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Rivermark West Freight and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. We reward reliability. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
