IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Meridian Freight is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
