IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Buffalo, NY)

Harborlight Ivory Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Buffalo. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
