IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Loom Construction and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
