IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Buffalo, NY)

Bluepeak North Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Buffalo region. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 76 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with client orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
