IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Buffalo, NY)

Greenridge Ashton Foods is a Buffalo food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
