IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Buffalo, NY)

Lumen Cedar Legal Group is a law firm in Buffalo serving businesses and individuals, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with intake forms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
