IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Boston, MA)

Fernwood Linden Arts Center is an arts centre in Boston with a full calendar of events, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Boston. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
