IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Boston, MA)

Stonegate Meridian Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Boston, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
