IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Baltimore, MD)

Stonegate Loom Insurance is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 364 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with policy renewals.
