IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Field Community Partners and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
