IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Baltimore, MD)

Summit Vista Insurance is an insurance company in Baltimore with claims and service teams, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
