IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Anchorage, AK)

Amberfield North Learning Group is an education provider in Anchorage serving students and families, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
