IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Albuquerque, NM)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Pine Water Authority and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
