Instructor - skills training (Wichita, KS)

Westbrook Umber Inspection Services Group tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Wichita. We are hiring an Instructor to take on skills training. You would join a small organisation of about 102 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about certifications. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
