Instructor - skills training (San Jose, CA)

Cedar Fern Care Services supports families and individuals in San Jose with personal care and coordination, and we need an Instructor to lead our skills training. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about client records. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in client records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
