Instructor - skills training (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Wilder Learning Group and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be skills training. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about school calendars. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in school calendars. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
