Instructor - skills training (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Early Learning and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be skills training. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about classroom supplies. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in classroom supplies. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
