Instructor - skills training (remote)

Amberfield Cedar Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Columbus. We are hiring an Instructor to take on skills training. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about equipment calibration. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in equipment calibration. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
