Instructor - skills training (remote)

Bluepeak Thistle Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Houston area, and we need an Instructor to lead our skills training. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about attendance records. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
