Instructor - skills training (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood Willow Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Raleigh, and we need an Instructor to lead our skills training. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about family communication. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
