Instructor - skills training (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Beacon Staffing Group and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be skills training. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Portland. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about onboarding. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in onboarding. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
