Instructor - skills training (Oakland, CA)

Redstone Juniper Care Services supports families and individuals in Oakland with personal care and coordination, and we need an Instructor to lead our skills training. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about visit scheduling. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in visit scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
