Instructor - skills training (New Orleans, LA)

Fernwood Beacon Staffing Group is a New Orleans staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring an Instructor to take on skills training. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about client orders. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in client orders. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
