Instructor - skills training (New Orleans, LA)

Ironwood Maple Staffing is looking for an Instructor. The job centres on skills training for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 53 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about retention. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in retention. • Teaching credential or training certificate.
