Instructor - skills training (Hartford, CT)

Ironwood Health runs childcare centres in Hartford caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring an Instructor to take on skills training. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about family communication. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in family communication. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
