Instructor - skills training (Grand Rapids, MI)

Westbrook Lantern Learning Group is looking for an Instructor. The job centres on skills training for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about enrolment. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in enrolment. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
