Instructor - skills training (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Fern Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Grand Rapids. We are hiring an Instructor to take on skills training. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about licensing. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in licensing. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
