Instructor - skills training (Detroit, MI)

Harborlight Hollow Care Services provides in-home and community support in Detroit. We are hiring an Instructor to take on skills training. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about care plans. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in care plans. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
